Why CVS was founded
The first 36 hours following a disaster are the most critical. Our well-designed packages minimize the time required for getting aid on the ground, so that people can get the help they need as quickly as possible. CVS kits were designed in the field, to address actual needs faced by local communities in distress.
Why CVS kits
CVS knows from direct experience that Emergency Aid delivery is a complex and logistically challenging process. We have addressed this problem by creating integrated kits which go from our warehouse directly into the hands of the people they are designed for. This minimizes the need for costly and time consuming warehousing and re-packaging of equitable aid deliveries. Our packages are cost efficient, and custom designed to cover all of people needs in the time immediately following a disaster. Our innovative reconstruction kits support self sufficiency, reduce aid dependency and help people to start rebuilding their lives as quickly as possible.
Who is behind CVS
CV Saraswati was created by a team of dedicated emergency response volunteers who live in South East Asia. Through direct experience in disaster zones we have seen that relief aid often does not meet the specific needs on the ground. Our team is dedicated to bringing ‘Intelligent Aid’ to the process of emergency response and above all, we believe that getting the most out of aid dollars means more people will be helped.
